In March, e-tradeway linked with Hayley Group plc, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of engineering essentials, to share a stand at easy-Fairs MAINTEC. This event, at the NEC, Birmingham, is the UK’s biggest and most comprehensive event for industrial maintenance and asset management. Said e-tradeway managing director Martin Onley, "We work with Hayley’s national accounts team and their rail division, using vending, scanning and our i-pos (internet point of sale) systems. By sharing stand space we met quality live prospects who are interested in the products of both e-tradeway and our customers.”

Our multi door secure Trade Locker enables controlled access to items too large to dispense via our trademark vending machines. This latest development extends the e-tradeway supply chain benefits to larger items, monitoring issues by product, person, department, projects and export data.

The e-tradeway ethos is to save you time and money in managing your supply chain and our Trade Locker will do just that with one vital addition - partly used items can be put back into the locker. Not only will this reduce wastage, but it promotes re-use and reduces your environmental footprint.
The pre-production prototype and supporting software was demonstrated at our Stand J51 with feedback helping to refine the end product. Our demo model will have six doors - standing six feet high with doors measuring 12x8 ins, and a lockable interior space of 12ins depth. End product models will have a capability of up to 32 doors in a unit.
A big welcome to Steve Smith who joins the e-tradeway team at our Didcot workshop where he will be responsible for the workshop and stores facility. His role is key in preparing dispensers for delivery, and providing a comprehensive installation and repair service, including site visits.
